BAKE 4 – April 19, 2020
Yeast Utilized: 2 teaspoons
Nothing fancy. Just wanted a loaf of the sandwich bread for the week.

But bake times continue to elude me. Loaf is totally underdone and nearly still dough in the center. Grumble-bum. It’s also crumbly. Like, more crumbly than bread should be, I think?

It was satisfying, however, to eat homemade tuna salad on homemade bread.
Bread Forensics! Examining the scene of the crime, I suspect I used too much flour at the wrong time, and then, of course, didn’t bake it long enough.
The upside of self-isolation is that no one is subjected to my failed bakes but me…
